Teachers

Aside from family, often teachers are some of the most impactul people in our lives.  A teacher has the opportunity to help the student learn, inspire them to excel through their studies and strive towards their dreams.  When I think of the many teachers that have graduated from our program and are now either teaching students or even operating entire schools, I am in awe of the depth of impact that each of these sponsors have made.

Would you consider helping one or all three the following students complete their education.  They had previously been sponsored.  However, their sponsors are unable to continue their support of these students.  Your help is needed.  It only takes $40 per month to help these children complete their education.

Prayerfully, look at each of these kids and let me know which one you would like to sponsor.

Why I believe in child sponsorship

Life for vulnerable children in a developing nation can be dire.  Children with no one to turn to for financial assistance.  Children with dreams like our own kids, but lacking resources to follow the path that would open doors for them.  Kids that have to walk to a dirty watering hole to gather water for the day.  Grueling, hot weather with heavy cans of water.  Kids that work in the garden to be able harvest vegetable for their meals.  Kids begging in the streets to get a few pennies to help their mother.  Or for the kids that are alone, begging in the streets to give to their oppressors who are using them for a variety of activities.  These kids.  These kids are who we serve.  These kids benefit from child sponsorship.

Child sponsorship is more than providing financially.  The foundational core of Child sponsorship through Childcare Worldwide is the gospel of Jesus Christ.  True hope is only found in a relationship with Jesus.  The practicality of meeting the basic needs of these children and providing them with an education that can open doors that lead to their dreams are all ways that the children experience love in a very tangible way.

But, even more so, what I have seen through the years is that the relationship between a child and their sponsor provides hope.  Even if there isn't a lot of communication, a child gains a sense that they have someone that will provide for essential needs that their family is financially unable to provide.  The result is phenomenal.  The sponsor is often an answer to prayer for the child.  And, answered prayer is a faith builder.

I have seen story after story of kids whose lives have been changed through child sponsorship.  Their paths and stories are different, but the one common thread is the hope and opportunity they received while being sponsored through Childcare's sponsorship program.

Would you please provide that hope to a child who is waiting for someone to meet their needs and represent hope in following their God-given dreams.
